The AI Readiness Program (AIR) is a one-year initiative to advance the adoption and maturity of augmented and agentic software development at SOK. It is owned and operated by the DevEx team and runs across all cross-functional development teams.
The program's goal is to move teams from ad-hoc AI use to structured, measurable, and responsible adoption — with a focus on developer experience, team capability, and sustainable practices.

Scope
The AIR Program focuses on AI-enabled engineering practices across software development and selected SDLC activities. This includes the organizational, technical, and measurement capabilities needed to support secure, trusted, and sustainable AI adoption.
The program is not limited to deploying tools. The broader objective is measurable improvements in shared knowledge, delivery performance, and engineering outcomes.
Ownership
The program is owned by the DevEx team. Each cross-functional team participates through an AI Champion — a developer who acts as the team's point of contact, surfaces challenges, and keeps information flowing.
